When you first start building out your own framesets, nothing is more exciting than picking out the colorful bits that complete the picture in your minds eye. Mechanical cable housings used to be available in only Shimano gray or black. But not so anymore. As you'll see under this category, you have many options available to complete the look that you are going for.

These kits are Shimano and SRAM compatible. Campagnolo will require Campy shifter cable, housing will work fine.

Included in this kit should be all that you need to re-cable or build one mountain or road bike. These are universal kits meaning that they can work on any bike with mechanical shifters or brakes. The included front and rear brake cables have dual ends to be used for either road or MTB shifters. (make sure you cut the right end off) - 

NOTE: IF YOUR CABLE HOUSING RUNS THE ENTIRE LENGTH (SHIFTER TO DERAILLEUR) OF THE CABLE RUN, THERE MAY NOT BE ENOUGH CABLE HOUSING TO DO BOTH FRONT AND REAR CABLING FOR DERAILLEURS. PLEASE MEASURE BEFORE PURCHASING.

One complete kit comes with 1 long piece of low compression 5mm brake housing at 2.4M or 94.5" in length, 1 long piece of compressionless 4mm shifter housing at 1.9M or 74.5" in length. (2) galvanized universal (MTB or Road) brake cables, (2) Pro Stainless shifter cables, and a bag of black PLASTIC 4 and 5mm ferrules, donuts, and METAL silver cable ends.

UPGRADES: - AS AN UPGRADE YOU CAN SELECT TO UPGRADE FROM GALVANIZED BRAKE CABLES TO STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE CABLES. (KIT ALREADY INCLUDES STAINLESS STEEL SHIFTER CABLES.)
